Calathea Stromanthe Triostar - 12cm pot

Also known as Stromanthe Sanguinea Triostar

A native to the jungles in South America, this is a beautiful, much coveted plant with variegated leaves in 3 shades of pink, green and white. It's in the Calathea family and related to the prayer plant. So it is relatively easy. 

Calatheas don't enjoy a draughty spot and the room temperature should be about 18 or 19 Centigrade. They do appreciate a misting of water and a slightly higher humidity. Sitting them on a tray of pebbles and watering from the bottom helps with this as the water evaporates around the plant. As long as it is not sitting in the water it will be fine.
