These are lovely little pairs of handmade glass stud earrings in a range of beautiful colours. Some iridescent, some marbled, some with spirals Made in a torch flame and carefully annealed in a kiln overnight to prevent any breakages these earrings would be perfect to complement an outfit or as a little gift to someone. The backs are Surgical Steel, a completely safe and hypo-allergenic metal. The steel backs are fused into the glass while it is still hot, so no glue is needed. As they are handmade, the size of glass varies between 5 and 7 mm, but is consistent within the pairs. Earrings may differ slightly from the images as they are handmade. These beautifully simple stud earrings are made in Scotland by Helen Chalmers, a fairly local lass! Based in South Queensferry The studs are made using recycled Scottish whisky bottle glass, the backs are hypoallergenic steel, so perfectly inert and good for sensitive ears. Colours available are clear with 24 carat gold leaf or palladium leaf (a dark silver finish but tarnishes less than silver)  Sizes are about 6mm in diameter
